hks turbos

i would like to upgrade the turbo on my fc to an hks bal-bearing gt series turbine. but i dont know which one is the size i want. im looking for a turbine that is stock size if possible, if not stock size just a tad bigger. i am going for all-around performance(roadrace, autox, drift) and i dont want a big drag type of turbo because of their lag. i read the hks gt series are supposed to have the best spool-up rates around, so ive had my eye on those. but im unsure about the size i need/want. can anybody clear this up for me?

thanks

A smaller trim TO4 series turbo would probably work, and might end up being cheaper.

Find out the turbo used in the kits and the ar/compressor sizes, that will let you know how much lag, and how much power the turbo is going to make.

Are you serious about this or just trying to be "cool" because you have one of these things on your car cause you seen it in a magazine.&nbsp Sorry to be harsh, but you're looking at a ~$3,000 turbo.&nbsp Even a comparable Turbonetics turbo is a grand for non-BB, and HALF the price of an HKS GT-series with a BB center (~$1,600).

Those HKS things are overpriced for the performance, and only the most wealthy or those with connections in Japan would end up buying them.

If you're looking for a straight answer, a GT3037 or GT3040 would be the "proper" size for a 13BT.

You mid-read a SINGLE sentence in one of my replies, and now you base your entire view of who I am and where I'm coming from from that???

You better reply to the other thread before you make yourself look really stupid.&nbsp Here, I'll post a direct link to it so you won't get lost:
