That HKS thing was released a couple years ago.&nbsp I think it's called the "Super Suction Kit" for the FC3S.&nbsp It had a quiet release, and I don't think it's being brought into the US yet.

When I checked the price, it's at least $200!

When I was trying to make these TID things for K2RD a few years back, I got very little serious responses for them.&nbsp Very few people would commit to a $100 price for a polished mandrel bent elbow with 2-ply reinforced Turbonetics silicon hose - the kit included all brand new stainless steel band clamps and the proper emissions fittings for each vehicle.&nbsp With the low interest in that product, I dropped the R&D.

What's the deal with this K2RD AFM adapter?, does anyone have a pic or can explain what exactly this is?, I've had one of those TID from Ebay sitting here(waiting to buy some proper couplings), and it would be nice to get rid of the air meter). Thanx

The AFM adapter from K2RD is just an HKS unit.

I made my own and noticed a much better throttle response and 3 more PSI!!! Watch out!!

Here is some pics of my Autozone TID mod.

If you don't want to make your own, you can buy a very nice one from "Chris" on teamfc3s.org forum for $150.00. Here is a pic. http://www.teamfc3s.org/forum/showth...t=polished+TID

40 dollars vs 150 dollars - both achieve the exact same peformance.

Seems logical to me.

Yes, I did notice a big difference with the TID. 2-3 PSI more and the throttle and shifting response is much sharper/smoother.

ahh we can be so ghetto here in the 2nd gen forum sometimes... I dunno i cant say i agree with of these home made TID's but i can agree with the price.
That HKS looks great but that first bend makes me wonder it looks no diffrent than the 90 degree bend coming from the stock TID.
