Hey,

I just picked up a HKS Super Mega Flow Intake System. This one says it's for the 87-88, but I have an 89. When I checked the prices the one that I got was more expensive by like $50. Is there just some extra parts or will it fit in mine?

HKS doesn't have a support site, could some one shine me on some reading matieral?

i'm almost positive that you just have extra parts. the way the cone style intake goes onto the MAS is different between the earlier and later 2nd gens. the earlier style needs the adapter plate, which i assume came with your kit. the later style dosen't need that. all you need is the little rubber coupler and the metal band dealy (that's the technical term). i'm sure you can sell the extra parts to someone on the forum, so someone can just buy the actual cone...
