HKS Super SQV Blow off valve question
is anyone else running this on a stock turbo II? I cant seem to hear mine...i checked for vacumm leaks and found none...im thinking 5.5psi might not be enough but wanted to verify with y'all first. thanks

i have it hooked up to the same line that the stock cbv went too...idk what the deal is...my boost/vac gauge can't come soon enough...i wish i had more patience haha...

Just make sure you're hooked up to a good vac source. I have the HKS kit hooked up to the stock pipe above the turbo and the BOV vac to the intake manifold. At 6-7 lbs it should vent and sound fine. But like they said, the more boost you run and the longer the boost is maintained, the louder sound you get. And get the second insert like Hypertec said, it's sweet. I rotate every summer.

problem solved hose was pinched...i can be such a tard some times. i have the insert with the 3 fins that come to a point. it kinda shrieks when it blows off...im getting my exhaust bent this friday so it should be interesting to hear the combination of the two...
