I bought an HKS MBC in the junk yard today for $10. I told the guy it was a vaccum selonoid I found on a Turbo 300ZX. It has HKS Tees and HKS stickers on it so I assume its the HKS MBC. It looks just like the Hallman MBC but has a mount that says "use 92 octane or higher". Yeah Im babbling. Anyway...The question is 1) Did HKS make a boost controller with a mount that says that and a ****. I can take a pic if it helps.
2) I currently have it set up so the pill is on the turbo side of the wastegate line. The Tee is after that and goes to the in side of the controller. on the out side I ran that to a hose that goes into the intercooler. Does that setup sound ok? Also I currently have it set as low as I can since it was raining today and I want to take my time setting it up right. Im primarily after the increase in boost response more than actually turning up the boost. I know this post is all erratic and stuff, I'll try not to post at 3am anymore. Thanks for the help.

well yes post a pic... so it's a bleed type controler?

the out part should not be going to the IC. it'll never bleed out cause the IC is under pressure pushing back. it needs to go the the intake between the turbo and AFM.
