HKS Electronics
I just bought this TII 2nd gen. I'm kinda new at rotary.
On the right side of the steering wheel, basically when your sitting in your seat, where your right knee would hit if you raised it, there is this radar looking module that says something like turbo boost timer or something.
but basically I can adjust the thing to read either negetive numbers or positive numbers.
Like i said Im new to this so i have no Idea what it is. it has wires in the back to it that probably hooks up to electronics of the turbo.
i have'nt had time to really check it out as to where it is wired to.
any body know what it is

wow...you are very very new.
That's the turbo timer. It is essential, at least in my opinions for me and for people who doesn't have time to just sit around in their cars.
Basically, it lets you a set a time in which the car will stay running after the car is turned off and the keys are pulled out. It lets you cool down your turbo and I kinda forgot why that's important, but all I know is that it's an insurance against your turbo going bye-bye.
It's generally only necessary if you boosted and played with boost while driving.
Can someone explain why the turbo timer is a good idea, or why cooling down turbo is a good idea?
