HKS cast manifold (Which one?)

Yes I have been searching for 2 days! From my search I thought I got a definate answer that the FC manfiold makes the turbo sit further away from the block compared to the one for an FD, which is what I'm looking for. Now someone is telling me that I have it backwards. Can someone with personal experience with these manifold please clarify this for me? I just want to make sure I get the right manifold for my T70.

Thanks in advance, Ed

Yes if you can find a FC cast mani it will sit the turbo out further. I have a FD cast mani on my tII and with a GT3582 I needed to add a spacer to have the clearance needed at the LIM. I just used this part http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=16183

I have the HKS cast undivided manifold for the FC. It's a decent manifold, reliable but not the best for controlling boost due to the runner design. If you just want the undivided one wait around until one comes up used. If you want a nicer mani then you will probably have to use a spacer and get something for an FD.
