I am going to the yard today.. They had 2 RX7s last week. No engines, one had a trans... anyone need any parts, just post and I will check for you....

 

if you could, look for either a pair of power side mirrors or just the drivers side mirror

The one car has power mirrors.. however I recall the driver side mirror being busted.. But it you have a mirror insert for it, then it would be fine..


Do you also want the switch for the mirrors?


I can pull them and stash them in a truck of another car, and I will get back to you about the price the yard wants..

PS: I am doing this for nothing, all I ask is if you really want the parts, make sure you pay for them.. don't stick me with parts I don't need... Thanks...

I hope you didn't get it...Tha extra torque and HP is really a pain the butt...gotta buy new tires all the time, can't drive in the rain...man that thing is prolly only worth like $6

The funny thing is.... The import junkyard right by my house had one of those over the summer. And get this.... 79K miles... One quarter panel dent... NOTHING else wrong with the car. Went for 2000$ to some lucky guy.

Have you gone yet? I need exhaust hangers (all of them), an o2 sensor (if there is one in ok condition), and the 3 bolts that hold the downpipe to the turbo, the 2 bolts that hold the downpipe & the connecting pipe. :)

 

i need a drivers side power mirror insert on the inside ..the black triangle piece

 

We went no turbo parts, except 2 T2 wheels.

The power mirrors were shot, The one glass was cracked" drivers " the other mirror the outside was cracked. So they were useless. The cover for the corner of the mirror was gone.


Both Center consoles were cracked up.

There was a another new RX7 out there.. with an engine, .. I am getting it..

I need a fuel pump.. see if they got one that works.. OH! and if they have an 87 NA driveshaft.. i got one shortened for my Rex but i still need to get it balanced..

.. Oh yeah! and a couple screws that hold the fuel pump plate down.. i messed up 2 when getting at my fuel pump.. damn rust welded POS screws!

 

They had the power window motor.. sorry about that..I will go back today..


the fuel pump cover use standard 10 mm bolts.. any of them will work..

 

i went today to look at the 7's they are pretty nice or used to be pretty nice. lol. one has an engine . both are s4's both bodies are in good shape. one is an 86 red gxl and one is an 86 brown sport. the brown sport has an aluminum hood though.... i wish i could go get it. i wonder how much it costs.....

Are you talking about the champian colored one? It was right where the red rx7 with TII rims? If so, that had a steel hood on it. Maybe there was another we didn't see. We got there kinda late in the day so we didn't explore that much of the junkyard. Oh, well.

 

i would take a driver's with bashed glass, i could just get an insert

that brownish one across from the red one... sorry ur wrong dude its aluminum... believe me i know.. its really light . i took the a/c only bracket from the engine too wow i love it.. imma install it and when i get a chance i think ill go to levi's house.. maybe after christmas i will. im not sure when i will get a chance.. we will see.. take it easy mike
