could be, but I had the same problem and it ended up being a headlight relay. Problem solved.

If the headlights work on low-beam then it's not the headlight relay.

It'll be either the dimmer relay or the dimmer/indicator switch. Both are easily tested. Instructions are in the Body Electrical Systems chapter of the FSM.

If it's the relay then it can be replaced with a generic 30A relay (I did mine on the weeekend). If it's the switch you'll need to track down another one.

Both relays are good. The wires going to the big blue connector under the dash with all the lighting wires are good. If I ground the white switched ground running from the dimmer relay to the dimmer switch (turns to Red w/ yellow stripe at the blue connector) to the body, the highbeams come on and work with the low beams. When I try to use the dimmer switch to turn on the highbeams the dimmer relay buzzes and won't work. The black ground running from the dimmer switch is good. I tried two other dimmer switches...any other suggestions?

*My lowbeams have always come on with my running lights...? How might that have something to do with my highbeam problem?
