here is a thread updated just yesterday. a simple search for "impedance" will give you all the info you need. this is a frequently asked question.

Now someone has told me that , The resistor pack up by the right front head light is not the fuel pump resistor pack , it's the injector resistor pack. so Now I'm throughly confused? what does the resistor pack look like and where is it and what does the fuel pump resistor look like ?

Your 88 car did not come with the solenoid resistor package. Your turbo 88 car did come with the fuel pump/resistor relay package behind the right headlight assy. That's a different thing.

How did I know you have a 88???? Cause I guessed at it because you did not post what year/series car you have. Did I waste your time? Hope not.

I think you have another thread and I answered the question on that thread. I added pictures on that other thread etc. IF you have the silver box called the SOLENOID RESISTOR bolted below the afm/air filter area near the washer bottle, then you have low impedence injectors. You should also have a fuel pump relay/resistor box bolted to the bulkhead just behind the right headlight assy if the car is stock 1987 turbo.

I also added the chassis numbers the low and high impedence injectors are used on, on the other thread.
