Cool High pressure radiator cap

hello everyone,

Whats the difference in changing from a lower pressure radiator cap to a higher pressure raidator cap?
the cap i have now is 0.9 bars but lets say i want to get a 1.3 bars, what are the benifits and side-effects?

A high-pressure cap does not increase the cooling systems capacity. All it does is give you a little more headroom before it boils, but that only happens if you actually overheat. A cooling system in good order (or one modded to suit your engine's output) shouldn't overheat, so all you're doing is putting extra pressure on the cooling system hoses.

Don't do it.
Your cooling system cannot withstand that kinda pressures.

Every try to pressure test your cooling system?
Typical pressures over 15psi (~1.0bar) will cause coolant to leak!
