High pitched noise

High pitched noise
I just put my ported intake manifold on that has TB mod. I also replaced all the vacuum hoses. When the car is cold there is no noise and it idles good... then when it warms up there is a high pitched noise comming from the engine. I tired pulling off all the stuff on the pully like alternator and air pump, but the noise is still there. It also changes pitches when the car is revved up.. and goes away when the rpms are high. Do you guys have any ideas what this is?

haha Maybe you turned your tb into a whistle.

Sounds like you have a big leak some where. How does the car idle?

The car idles really good... and this noise only starts when the car is warmed up... I think its that coolant hose that runs to the back of the water pump. I rerouted it becuase I did the TB mod... Im thinking it starts only when the car is warm becuase the thermostat opens up the coolant flow through there. So a tiny little leak in the hose could be causing this.. What do you guys think?

I just found what was causing a whistle on my car, it was the bolts that hold the intake elbow on, but my car didn't(doesn't.. ) idle at all so that might not be your prob.

hahahahaha that clip is hilarious. woooo wooooo wooooo
Sounds like a vacuum leak. I had a similar problem when a rubber plug I used on the block failed and I had intake vacuum on the crancase. The leak would make a very loud whistle when the engine was cold, but then it would go away when warmed up. (plug expanded in the hole again)
You might have unplugged one of the solenoid valve connections. One where its closed until a specific temp or rpm or whatever.
The coolant running in that hose is not the problem. But, that hose is really unneeded. You should get some suitable caps, or plug those nipples somehow.

when you were playing with the coolant hose you probably moved whatever was really causing the sound and now that something else has moved it back its making noise again.
If water passing through a hose made a high pitch annoying sound we wouldn't have so many goofy angles in our radiator plumbing. The coolant hose was not the problem.
Check for vac leaks. Wiggle stuff under the hood while the engine is running and see if you can make it happen in the driveway.
