if you do some searches you will find that senthetic oil is not bad for the rotary! synthetics (the good ones ex royal purple) burn like any other oil just cleaner. As far as the high mileage stuff I don't know but unless its the really good brand you might not want to.

The high mileage stuff is "specially formulated" to revitilaze valve seals or some such piston non sense. In any case I doubt that it would have any possitive effect on a rotary. As far as being bad for it I would doubt it unless its some crazy blow up your car oil. If I were you I would just stick to what most people use (ie castrol gtx, royal purple , etc , etc)

Is it ok? Yeah, sure, probably. But are there any gains? No, none, zero. Save your money and time and just use regular dino oil.

Yup, my vert likes cheap oil & cheap gas. I run pennzoil 10-30 non synth.

i am using a high mileage oil right now and there is absolutely no difference. at the next oil change(1500 mi) i am going back to using penzoil 10-w30. saves me a few bucks towards some mods. no gains at all though.

careful with penzoil, they have a bad habit of putting 'remanufactured' oil into their new quarts and not telling anyone
