Question High/ Low impedance injectors

How do you tell the difference between high/low impedence injectors? Just bought a motor and i need to make sure...

get a multimeter....just connect the 2 prongs and it'll show itself within seconds

that helps... what Ohm readings should we be looking for for high vs low??

high imp should be 12-13ohm low imp should be 2-3ohm.....the difference should be pretty drastic....so u wont see any 5-6ohms..unless the injector is messed up

yup....all the info are there..just gotta spend time to search.....i didnt refer to the color cause they tend to fade over time so the multimeter method is the best way to find out what injectors u have

not to thread jack or nothing, but can you combine high and low injectors (or saturated and peak hold) when using a stand alone?

Most standalones don't care what kind of injectors they run. Some (Haltech) require you to set the injector type so each "bank" of injectors must contain all the same injectors. Some (Megasquirt) have these settings but it's easier to use series resistors so you don't have to tune the current limits.
