high impedance fuel injectors is it bad for my S4 ECU on a T2
okay a long title but anyway my deal is, I just bought this T2 harness and it has high impedance fuel injector plugs and my current Injector plugs are Low Impedance. If I want to run the new Harness I have to change the plugs I know.
But will the fact that the Highs requier more voltage be a problem for my ECU because it's use to a lower voltage. It I change it will my motor run like **** if the signal stays the same and there is not enough fuel being sended in?
Uhh...yeah any help on this matter of mine would be swell thanks!

The difference between low-z and high-z injector wiring is that the low-z injectors use resistors to adjust total resistance so that it is about the same as the high-z injectors alone, and as far as I know, the ECU cannot tell a difference.
So, it sounds like you can either wire the resistor pack into the new harness (if you're going to run low-z injectors), or get a set of high-z injectors and make sure your resistor pack (assuming you have a low-z-wired car and not just a set of low-z injectors) isn't connected to your new harness at all (I don't remember where it enters/exists the harness...).
The second option presents far fewer opportunities to **** everything up.

Cool thanks! uh my car is a 87 and it came with the low z, so your saying I need to make sure to resistor pack is not hooked up to the car with the new harness and the next set of injectors for the high z is that right?
and where would this resistor pack be located?
