High imp and low imp injector and ecu question

Here's a question that has been hindering me and a friend. We spent a great while last night trying to figure this one out.

The car is an s4 tii stock setup. Manufacturers date 11/87. He has an n332 and an n333 ecu.

The car does not have a solenoid resistor on the passenger wheel well engine bay.

Can it run a 332 ecu with low imp injectors without the solenoid resistor?

Or does it need the n333 with high imp injectors?

Or how can we run the 332 with lows if the car is setup for highs?

Both of The ECU's likes to see HI impedance,so therefore you need either HI impedance injectors or wire some Resistors into the harness before the Lo impedance Injectors.

So how it works is , the n333 and n332 are interchangeable. And both ecus.must see high impedance at the ecu.

so u can run low imp injectors plus the resistor pack.(makes it high impedance)

or high impedance injectors with no resistor pack

Awesome thanks guys, time to go on the hunt for the right resistors

10 ohms resistors would be fine to run low impedance fuel injectors with high impedance ECU

While I agree that you CAN put resistors in the wiring and run LO impedance Injectors,I am a "why guy" and personally would opt to just get the HI impedance injectors and not mess with any wiring.
Toss up a "trade LO's for HI Injectors" up in the classifieds.
By the time you buy the resistors and calculate time to put them in to Run the LO's you can be ON the road with HI's and NO real financial downtime.
