High Idle. New Motor swap.
Hey guys, after four weeks of yanking, pulling, pushing, torquing, ratcheting, and bleeding, I finally got my motor in, mounted up, bolted in, and it is now in running, driving condition.
However, the idle sits around 2,000 now, even after warming up, tried adjusting the idle screw, and then it will only go so low before it dies, it will either be 2,000, or will sputter and die.
Going to check the vacuum lines, as thats a good place to start, does anyone have any suggestions as to whats going on?
Also, my power steering pump is making kind of a squealing noise, was not making this noise back before the pull

Try checking the 2nd gen frequently asked questions page. You can find a link to manuals for your cars year in there and download a repair manual full of information on idle adjustment. It helped me after my rebuild as it took me a while to adjust back down from a 2000rpm idle.
