Please help. I cleaned throttle body and reattached with all hoses, etc. Car idled fine prior to cleaning.

Now, right after starting, car idles high above 1500 rpm. I adjusted accelerator throttle cable with proper play according to fsm. However, when turn throttle linkage counterclockwise, idle drops ok.

Please advise if I am setting throttle cable correctly.

not to sure and to lazy right now to look it up for sure.. but there is a screw on the TB it's self... on the top i think thats the one..i dont think u need to be ******* with the cable

 

Your referring to idle set screw located on top of throttle body - I never touched it and car idled fine prior to cleaning throttle body.

 

Anybody clean throttle body and re-attached throttle cable correctly.

Don't bump, teh mods don't like that.
