hi impedence/ low impedence

Is it possible to jumper the solenoid resistors and use high impedence injectors in a low impedence car? Just wondering.

Yes.

Cut the solenoid resistors five wires and splice them ALL together. Done. Then install the high impedence injectors.

the '87 wiring diagram calls the injector resistors "solenoid resistor" even though they aren't connected to the solenoid valves. Probably some inside joke. Go figure. Thanks Hailers.
