HEY GUYS THE N/A GTUs BEAST IS BACK!

after 6 months I gogt her back on Saturday. I invested about $6,600 worth of my hard earned money. She got a fluidyne radiator. Everything internally was replaced, while the rebuild was being done. She also got a mild streetport ,carbon filled apex seals and springs. Everything internally was ported and polished. I also had them put a high pressure oil presure regulator. And a turboII oil pump was also installed. At the same time i had the injectors bluprinted and balanced. The eccentric shaft was also modded so the rotors are getting jetted with oil at all times. A Racing Beat lightened flywheel was also put on, while I had already a stage II clutch from CLUTCHMASTERS. The rotor bearinsg were also modded for better oil flow for those times I will be at the 8,500 and up rpm ranges. And Type I modified front and rear stationary gears were adeed so I could, if I wanted reved it up to 10,000 rpm's there will be no problem. The car already had a first of a kind custom made HKS intake and APEX'i Dunk exhaust.. Right now she has all three cats on her but after I smog her and break in the motor correctly i will intall my Racing Beat header and silencer, that I have in the garage. I forget to mention that the a/c was removed and all little junk as well, Oh, and the transmission was also rebuilt. All the synchro's were replaced with new ones! So what do you guys think? Did I miss anything that I should have done to have a high revvin all motor GTUs? I still need about $1,000 dollars left to invest in bolt on's such as ecu chip, pulleys, ignition box, ported throttle body, extrudehone the intake manifold, electric fan , high flow fuel pump, 550 blueprinted and balanced secondary injectors, APEX'i SAFC and invest in a better lsd, oil baffle and moroso oil pan. What will be my rwhp? And how about my 1/4 mile times? Before she broke down I ran a 14.2 . I at that time had my HKS intake and Racing Beat header and silencer and a custom made dual BLITZ exhaust. I did not have my stageII clutch in yet. I do have a timeslip for that run.

FC3CHRIS--nice...what part of El Monte are you at??..Mind if i come and check out the beast???..with all the mods you listed it should be a hella a fast GTUs!..

What im worried about though is, how come you dont have an upgraded fuel system installed yet??If i were you id install the high flow pump, bigger injectors, and S-AFC before i even start driving the car...

PS who did your car??

14.2 before the rebuild, holy crap, NICE time should be able to break 13's pretty easy.

get an S-AFC fuel tuner, dont bother with Extrude honing, 500 or more dollars for like 1-5 hp, not worth it. pulleys, make a cool air intake, or when we get our cool air kits done use one of those, sticky tires 9000rpm is all you will need to go to with any kind of a street port, peak power is at like 8000-8500 anyways get the intake manifold ported, bored/modded TB, and if i think of anything else ill post it

Dont bother with a bigger fuel pump, just get a SAFC. you'll be good.

Other than that, sounds nice

well guys i did not get the a bigger fuel pum because my mechanic said i dont need it, I just need to get the APEX'i SAFC to control the pulsations. For tires I have 205/55ZR AZENIS falken tires in the rear on my 16' turbo TII mesh rims. I got all my car done at a good buddies shop in temple city called ROTECH auto service. Is there anything else I can do to her that will make her run "better"?

Ahh ROTECH!..I spoke to Nelson about a week ago about pressing out and pressing in my new rotor bearings. He charges alot though just for that service.. Heard good things about them!..

well guys If I knew how to post pics I would but unfortunetly I don't. The reason is that at home I dont have a computer, i do my post when i am at school. I am going to try to get my friend to post my pictures but if you guys can tell me quickly how to do it that will be apprciated. I will try to post the timeslip as well , for those of you who doubt that I ran that 14.2

oh another thing if you guys go to www.superstreetonline.com and got to cars and then got to featured cars you will see a sweet looking rx-4 that he, Nelson and his brother Wilson, built. It is probably the only other rotary that has been in that magazine other that the many FD's that come out and that one FC that once appeared

Yo,

Cool man, I wish I could drop that kind of cashola on my GTUs. I guess I'll just keep spending it on car wax and keep shining it up. *grin* If I can't be fast, might as well look good doin' it. Way to represent the NA, let us know what you do on the rollers and on the 1/4 mile!
