Hey 3rd Gen owner here looking for daily driver

I'm looking for a non turbo 2nd Gen as a daily driver. I have only 2 questions...

1) how much does a '91 or '92 go for in good condition with decent mileage?

and

2) I'm 6'4 230 pounds...I can fit in a 3rd gen, would I be able to fit in a 2nd gen? Thanks in advance

I'm 6'3" 210 lbs and I fit in my 2nd gens just fine. Do a search on autotrader for 89-92 RX-7's and see what people are asking for them. Have you looked in the 2nd gen for sale section on the forum?

I have seen '91's in good to excellent condition go for 4k+, but thats here in Washington.
I think you might have some trouble fitting in the car. I know my dad is 6'2 and 230 and he has some trouble getting in. You are probably a little more flexible though.

Its a sad day when a 3rd gen owner would have to drive a VW to work =-] . just look around in the autotrader and online car traders and yall find one for a reasonable price...

I am 6' 215lbs, and I can fit in my 91 better than I can a buddy of mine's 93. I bought my 1991 N/A w/ 96k on the clock, and in awesome condition for $4k. Good luck in your search!!

well from what im guessing, you're looking for a s5 2nd gen. you'd be just fine even with an '89. I brought my '91 vert n/a with 74k miles for $6k... a lil hefty, but i couldn't resist. You can find some in the range of $2k-$3.5k if you look around.

Get the Convertible if you want a SWEET daily rx-7.

The turbo II also is just as fun to drive.

Can't go wrong either way
