hesitation at higher rpms with and without load
im posting this because i want an answer as well.
today, 088 came over today to see what we could rule out as being the fault of his idling issues.
well, after checking spark from trailing and leading, those were ruled out
then afm, ruled out
then the pressure sensor, ruled out
ecu, ruled out
after driving it and also finding out that it has a heavier port and engine build via karack from previous owner, it felt like to me that it was having fuel starvation if not improper burning after ~6500 rpm.
oil lines are fine, mop is fine
it has several different idles, and loves to die upon pulling and then letting off to turn.
he had to retard the timing due to "detonation", not sure really.
the car is a s5 N/A. mods are extensive, nothing pertaining to the engine, minus the heavy street port.
stock fuel and ignition system
help me help out 088.
peace
