hesitation in free revving..

Here is a vid of my rx7 fc turbo hesitating around 3500. I'm not sure what this is misfire? Timing issue? Fuel issue? Doing this pretty much since I bought it. I Emissions removed replaced all remaining vac lines. I have a Walbro fuel pump, spark plugs replaced last fall, fuel filter also last fall. Now I did notice that my fuel injector clip is broken but still works idk if that's an issue why? I'm not sure just wanna be pushed in the right direction. Btw ya I know oil pressure gauge is not working. So help

If you're free reving then you can rule out the secondary injectors since they do not operate under those conditions so if the broken injector clip is to one of the primary injectors then it needs replacing.

actually the broken one was one the secondary. when im driving it still pulls above 4k but if I try slowly there is some hesitation. but very bad hesitation when free reving pretty hard to get it to go over 4k unless I add more gas it does it just fine but not lightly

Try unplugging the TPS to free rev and see if there is a difference. The hesitation when driving could also be caused by insufficient grounding besides the broken injector plug.

The main engine ground runs to the ECU but it splits off and runs to each of the engine sensors as well. There is a staple which unifies some ground wires on the ECU harness about a foot or so from the ECU. This might be problematic. And what year is your car?

You might also have a primary injector problem or an ignition problem too. And have you messed w/the TPS?

Alright unplugged it and it idled better but still did the same thing but also my connector for my ground slip out while I was trying to remove the tps connector. Now that could have been why since the connector wasn't on there tightly? I removed the old one cause I needed to extend before but that was a stupid thing so I have to get a proper connection for that ground

And you might think about borrowing a meter to set the TPS. Only takes a minute or two once the car has been driven for 20 minutes or so. Remember, Green/Red wire should read 1 volt w/key to on and engine as hot as possible.

And which ground are you referring to. Is it one in which you added?

Back from the dead haha but would it be caused by bad fuel pump wiring at all? Cause only happens at 1/4 throttle and haven't had time yet to adjust tps..I will adjust I'm just curious and consider my options
