heres one for ya!

i have a good story i would like to share about how i came to own my FC. my car used to belong to my best friend who bought it for $3000. he had it about a month and the motor blew. it was still under drive train warrenty from the dealership so they replaced it for free and the motor they put in had only 40,000 miles on it. he continued to drive it for another year untill he burnt the clutch out. he then let it sit in his yard for 2 years. he bought a brand new clutch and at one point attempted to put it in but he didnt get past removing the tranny bolts. so after the 2 years of sitting and me seeing the car every day i began to like it. at the time i had an old motorcycle that i only paid $400 for. one day my friend asked me if i wanted to trade my motorcycle for his car. he knows me pretty good and figured i wouldnt ever get it running and would just resell it for a few hundered. well i took the trade and he even gave me the new clutch he had bought. it took me about 2 weeks but i got the clutch in myself and had her running good. and she still does. so basically i paid $400 for my FC and it only has around 60,000 on the motor now. 124,000 on the whole car. it has small problems nickle and dime **** like the power windows dont work. it does however have cold ac and good heat so no worrys there. also it has some idle problems but when im driving it it runs smooth as can be. and it has very high top end. around 130 it start to cut out a little but if i keep my foot in it it will hit 140. i think i made out pretty good on the deal. if anyone else has a similar story our and interesting one on how you came to own the car you do i would like to hear it.

There's been a few $400 TII with stuck engine stories. Basically a little AFT in the rotor housings and the car started up & is still running.

Hey glad you have another TII up & running as there a bit rare. Lots of options on power & style upgrades if that interest you.
