Just another quick question, how's the room with those seats in there? Did it open up more headroom, or give you even less? Legroom as well?

good question. it gave me less head room but not by much. my 6'3" brother can still fit. as far as the legroom goes, for the drivers side since i used the stock brackets/sliders i can only slide the seat 1 notch foward and 1 notch back. that was due to the bolts that conneted from the sliders to the seat(the bolt hits the brackets, causing minimal movement), but it was where i was comfortable anyways... and i'm 6'00"... for the passenger side, you can move like normal.

I'm about 6'4" or 6'5", only problem I have is helmet rubbing the top. What seats did you have previously? Oh, and do you think the stock brackets are the cause of it sitting that high?

i don't think the stock brackets are the reason... it might be the sliders. if you really want to i guess you could remove the sliders and just bolt the seats directly to the brackets... but make sure you get your leg position before you drill holes.

it also depends on how your posture is. do you sit up straight? whenever i sit up as straight as i can my head barely touches the roof.

this is the seat i had before...

Thanks for the pics, I sit with the seat leaned as far back as it can go, slid as far back, leaned as far back.

sure...

if you feel comfortable enough in your stock seat and in your positions, then you might be able to fit in these seats if you remove the sliders... just a thought. they are reclinable too.

I'll just have to see I guess, it's either that or I make my own brackets. Another question, is it double latching sliders, or just single? Could you possibly measure with the seat as far back as you can get it, and reclined as far back, from the bottom seat cushion to the top going at an angle that follows the back of the seat? (and get the tape as close to the seat cushion as possible) Heh, it's like 20 questions up in here!

i used the stock sliders, which are double latching.. i had to actually remove the wire off and then put them back on(it's easy once you actually see how it works).

for the measurments.. are you saying to move the seat as far back as possible with the seat reclined as far back too. you want me to measure the part of the seat where your thighs are(before it slopes down to the floor) all the way to an angle where your back lays and then all the way up to the top part of the seat? ALL in ONE measurement? hope that's correct.

and no, i don't mind

I COULD GO ALL DAY!

Nah, from the lowest part of the seat (right where the back meets the lower part of the seat) to the ceiling, just following it up at the angle. And yeah, all the way back and all the way reclined. So you'll start at the furthest back part of the lower seat cushion, all the way to the ceiling following the angle the seat sits at. Sorry if that's hard to understand, just want to get a rough comparison

Love the look and stance.

But.... I'm kind of nitpicky, and there is one thing that I see that spoils the look!

Jack the car up, take the wheels off, and paint the hubs black! That little bit of brownish silver poking through the center of each wheel really makes an otherwise beautiful car look unfinished. If it were black (or wheel colour) it would be awesome.

Nice work!

Happen to get that measurement? :-) Also, is that the black on grey set, or black on white?
