First off, you're gonna get more kind responses if you actually post pictures instead of linking us. Once you do that, I'll tell you how.
Secondly, removing them makes the car look ghetto and crappy.

But you tried searching, and didn't know what to search for, so I'll tell you this- they're called FTP or "Flash to pass" lenses.

Grrr....Evil Response!

Anyway, I really don't see a reason to remove other than to replace or to add a big airflow hole (Which you're cutting more than that hole). If you need airflow that badly, you should look into other things.

How was that an evil response? I'm asking the OP to familiarize himself with the forum, and make clear, coherent, intelligible posts. Speaking of which, the thread title should've said something like "Help removing lenses" or "how to remove lenses." Something more specific than "Help with my rx7" is necessary. On top of that, he couldn't even get out "Help with my rx7", but had to drop an 'h', and say "help wit my rx7."

1. they aren't lights, they are just a lense, unless your car is canadian or JDm.
2. you'll need to remove the front bumper to access the 2 screws holding each of them on.
3. they are called "flash to pass lenses"

Unbolt engine under-cover. The lenses have bolts epoxied to them. Nuts hold them to the front bumper cover.

Canadian models have just lenses too.

Also commonly abbreviated as FTP lenses. That may be helpful while searching.

I pm'ed him on how to remove them but you pop the hood then use the **** to turn the headlights to the up position w/o turning them on. This allows one to gain access to the lenses. I replaced mine with new ones so I speak from experience.

clear lenses

pop them off by placing a flat head screwdriver between the lense and the frame. they are held on by a sort of pushpin design from behind. I just happen to be looking for those lenses to complete my 1987 mazda rx-7 that my husband is restoring. If you dont need them i'll be happy to buy them from you or if anyone knows where i can buy the flash by passing lenses i'll be extremely grateful. thank you

clear FTP lenses

I can't believe my luck on finding others that know something about these lenses. I've looked everywhere online and cannot find any. I am missing only these lenses to complete my 1987 Rx-7 lighting issues. Any help with this problem would be immensely helpful please. thank you
