Help, windshield wipers grounded out and melted the fuse.....
I was delivering pizzas a few weeks ago and I noticed my a/c and heat control wasn't lit up anymore.
So I checked it out when I got back to work and the wipers had grounded out somehow and my e-fan stopped working as well.
The wiring harness is fine but the wiper fuse and a few nearby are melted to the fuse box.
How do I go about setting up a switch for the windshield wipers; or is that even possible?
I have already re-wired most of the car so it still runs and everything. Its just I can't get to work if it rains....... I went on a date and almost smacked a tree because it started raining..

It would help to know WHERE the wires grounded/melted. And WHAT car you have.
If I was you I'd attempt to fix the problem rather than wire in some ghetto switch. You may have to do some extensive wire-splice surgery, but it is your best option. Here is your bible:

...and... you use an RX-7 for pizza delivery?
