Unhappy Help! Whats wrong??

My 7 is acting strangely the last few days. The motor has become increasinly hesitant to rev past 5k and is generally lacking power. However, while the clutch is disengaged it revs fine? If I push it and hold the throttle at 6k (which is the highest it's gone as of last night) a high pitched whine starts to eminate from the powertrain. Yet only when the clutch is engaged and the car is in gear and in motion and I hold the revs for several seconds. It still idles fine and all other vitals are normal. Oil pressure is good, temp is normal. My clutch feels kinda slippery but would that cause this sort of problem?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I dont think its an engine seal but I could be wrong... I hope I'm not wrong

I considered that, I'll know for sure soon I've already got a custom straight pipe exhaust I was gonna bolt on as soon as I got some new mufflers.
