help w/ s5 N/A

i've searched for hours. my car idles and starts fine. when the throttle is depressed past a certain point, maybe half throttle. the engine and shifter bucks wildly. if i leave the car at the point just before it starts to buck then the rpms will reach a max of 4800 rpm. if i just mash the throttle then the car reaches only about 3000 and starts to sputter and buck. i've tried three diferent tps sensor and even tried it with the tps unplugged period and it still does the same thing.

my car makes this faint whistling sound as it idles. the source it seems is under the intake piping. i don't know if this is even related to the problem or not but i thought i'd mention it. i've already done the compression check and its fine. any ideas?

Sounds like a vacum leak in the secondaries to me. You might want to pull off the plenum to see if you have a broken line or heavilly cracked hose in there.

are you talking about pulling off the upper intake manifold? and by secondaries do you mean the secondary intake port?
