Help, Still Inquiring about n/a conversion

just out of curiousity, what would you recommend, i was messing around getting prices on TII engines and got some reasonable prices, i know there is a lot more work to be done, but what do you think,

a block completely stripped will run me $250, or a complete TII engine from a pretty reliable source with 75K miles for $850.

i thought it would give you helpful information. you will need more than just a shortblock for the conversion, so i'd say go with the complete motor. have both get a compression check to make sure they're running strong, but in the end, the long block will most likely be a better deal.
