Help Save an other RX 7

Hey guys i just got me an86 RX 7 baby. Yeah...! But im having a few lil problems with it and i need some advice. My car is leaqing Oil realy bad. I checked the Oil pan gasket and that is not leaqing and i was looking at the oil lines to see if those are craked but it didn't seem like it. The oil is come in from the hole on the trany that was pluged with a cap. So im thinking it could be the engine rear main seal that is causing me all this trouble. If you guys have any ideeas plz let me know. I got the seal all i got to do is replace it. ;( Any advice is welcome. Thx

Oh also my 6 ports aren't opening and my trany makes this awful winding noize.

Welcome to the club! Are you sure it's leaking? It's supposed to burn a little oil because of the OMP. As for your tranny, it could be the pilot bearing, or the bearings in the transmission itself. Does it whine all the time or just in a certain gear? If it's only in one gear it's your transmission. If it's all the time, it's either the pilot bearing or it's your transmission. Try putting some synthetic transmission oil in it. That may quiet it down, but plan on replacing all of this sometime in the near future.

is it engine or transmission oil that's leaking? Transmission oil is thick and usually a greyish brown, engine oil is not as thick (but still thick, not like wd40 or whatever) and usually golden brown to black, depending on its age. If its black, its time for an oil change.
