help, s5 intake on s4
Ok i have read everything i can search for including the carl davis writeup. i have a couple more questions. I have a complete s5 motor that is blown so i have already pulled lim and up off and cleaned it and began porting. I was wondering if anyone has opinions on if i should use the s4 or s5 lower intake and i also wondered what the differences are between the s4/s5 5/6 port actuators and wich ones will operate better with the setup. while im at it i would like to begin premixing and also have ported out the throttle body and need to find a writeup about the tb mod. I did a pretty good job of porting the throttle body, i will post some pics once i polish it. are there any other parts i should swap out from the s5 while im at it? any help on the questions would be great, thanks!!

I can help ya.
I'm running the s4 LIM with s4 block, everything else s5. but... s5 ECU.
I'd use the S5 LIM. It will bolt up fine, and if you use the S4 LIM... the VDI manifold won't bolt up using all 4 bolts. The bolt closest to the firewall won't connect. Not that it may matter, but just go with the S5
As far as the throttle body goes...
What do you need help with? what you can and can't remove? Or what?

Ive heard of people leaving the thermal wax on but blocking off the coolant flow and ive already removed and plugged the extra throttle plates, but ya what should i remove and what should i leave?
