Help! Rear end started vibrating!

WEll I was driving my baby home tonight from work and out of nowhere the rear end started vibrating real bad. As I slow down it is louder. I opened my door as I was driving and it sounded like it was coming from the tires. I'm not sure if the tires need balanced or it's something worse cause it just happened out of the blue. Any help will be very much appreciated!!

I think it is the driveshaft... my car has the same problem and I am waiting for my refund to get a new one... It vibrates as if one of the rear tires have a knot in it but took them all of and checked them out... should have it fixed by next week, I hope it solves the problem.

if you said it sounds like the tires, first thing i would have thought is "check the tires". a belt can snap for no reason in a tire leaving a bulge that vibrates like hell when your driving

the same thing happened to me a few nights ago, turns out it was just the ebrake, i left it half way on and it made the rear end start vibrating, i got worried and slowed down, to almost suddenly come to a stop, then i noticed the light, check it before jumping to costly conclutions
