hey i got a 1989 mazda rx7 gxl. i bought it from a guy that had took the tranny out of it to use that tranny to put in another one. well i had to buy all sorts of things and finally i got it all. and then i go to try and push start it cause i hadnt bolted up the starter yet on it. there was a few cut and loose wires by the starter area that didnt ended up hookin up with nothing. so i left those just cut and then i put my ignitino in it. cause it didnt have one. well after me and my friends pushed it with his truck the only thing it would do when i would put in the clutch was just rev up to whatever his rpm was. the ignitiion didnt kick over. i didnt hear the motor really change. and when i hit the gas it did nothin. what i need help in is. why isnt this thing startin up. its going to the last click on the ign. right before startup. what can i do to fix it??? help please . thanks

 

i think you might need a starter. splurge, treat urself to one!

the ignition might depend on those wires hookin up to the battery hook up on the starter. like all them wires might need to be hooked up to the starter for it to make a complete ignition.
