Unhappy Help Please!!

Three days ago my 88 N/A was running fine. I started it up for a few min to show my brother the car. The next day it would not start. My dads is a mechanic but has never worked on a rotary. He pulled the top hose off the fuel injector (the injector has three hoses in a row in the front going into the engine) and it snapped due to it being old. I have tried all the tricks in the facts having to due with flooding. It tries to start up won't. My dad put a compression cap over the open port. Will this work or will I have to replace the hose. Any help would be great.

if it is really flodded, no matter what you do you will not get it started, like taking out the plugs, turning it over with the plugs out, takin out the EGI injector fuse, none of that... Clean the plugs and Pull start it with another vehicle (Happened to me)

Evan

Edit: Replace the hose, do it right. You dont want an engine fire, do you?
