Just Got a rebuild. Put it in, and no start. I know rebuilds are notoriously hard to start but see I did get it started. It'll start with the CAS installed in the 9 Oclock position and pur like a kitten but the tach doesnt work. When Its running I dont get a reading from the timing light. If i put it in the correct way, It'll barely start, and when it does the CEL comes on and and it wont rev. I cant even keep the gas pedal depressed to keep it running. It throws a MAF code, but when it runs as said above no CEL. Is it possible to install the rotors incorrectly?

Tach signal comes from the trailing coil. If it won't work then the take won't work.
The air flow meter sends a signal to the circuit open relay when the air flow opens the flapper door. This signals is what keeps the fuel pump running. You may want to check the AFM (what you call the MAF) as per the instructions in the factory service manual. You can download it for free at www.fc3s.org
As for the 9 oclock position, what part of the cas is pointing to the 9 oclock position?
