help! overheating
help! overheating
So, just the other night, my 86 gxl with a 13bt swap started to overheat. i pulled over, checked all my hoses, no leaks. No coolant loss whatsoever. Then, I removed the thermostat. Seemed to help, but still was overheating by the time i got it home. Once I was home I flushed the coolant system, car is still overheating.
What do I do next?

you could also be running lean. How's your boost doing?
I had some major overheating issues and they turned out to be the thermostat. It should be pointed out that running no thermostat will actually make your engine hotter than running a properly sized one or a well designed hole.

I replaced the thermostat and it still overheats
I tried adjusting the idle screw, but it seemed to make no difference
I flushed both the radiator and the entire coolant system, first thing.
I think im going to pick up a new radiator, maybe theres a blockage somewhere
