HELP...Over heating

Hey guys i just got a 1991 rx7 coup N.a and i am having problems with the heat after
i run the car for around twenty minutes the gauge says im all the way hot. Any Advice or common problems that a\could be the cause ...also when i have my car in nutural it is at 800 rpms but when iput it into gear it slows down and stalls out unless i begin driving imidiatly plz plz help...

thermostat stuck closed, no fan shroud. we need more info, trouble shoot on it

I bet your motor is shot. Pegging the temp gauge means a toasted engine in most cases. Search around for checking for coolant seal leaks.

yeah i agree with sideways7 on that one. My dads 87 se has that overheating prob so he needs a rebuild now.
now from my experience about the idle, the engine would actually turn off when it got to hot. so dont know rely on my opinoin cuz i dont know nearly as much **** as alot of these people do, but im guesing you need a rebuild

thx for the help i dont think the engine is shot but it might be the thermo im gunna check it in a lil...
