Help one of my lug nuts broke the bolt!!!!!
Well, the title says it all. I was changing my wheels the other day and on my rear wheel one of the lug nuts got stuck onto the bolt. I was afraid to turn it since it got tighter as I loosened it. So, I tried to tighten it again and then take it off but it wouldnt budge. I then just finally decided to screw it off cause I needed to change the wheel and it broke. Will, it be okay to drive with only 4lugs? What exactly should I do to fix it? I've never had this problem before.
Thanks,

It will be okay for a while with only 4 bolts. But you do need to fix it. All you need to do is take your wheel back off, and use a punch and a large hammer to knock whats left of the stud out. Then all you have to do is go to the parts store and get another stud. Put the new stud in the hole from the backside of the hub, and give it a few taps to hold it in place. Put your tire back on and tighten all your lugnuts. The stud will pull through and seat when you tighten that lugnut back up. Use some AntiSeize and you wont have that problem again.
