NY Help with this one!?!?!?

ok I have a 13b-re swap pushing about 16psi with stock twins in non-sequential with a stock NA tranny with a act heavy duty clutch plate and street clutch...I'm driving pushing it a little hard when I shift into third, and I hear loud bang and a rattling noise so I stepped on the clutch and it goes away so I coast to a stop...I try to put it into 1st and press the gas to go and I hear that loud *** ping/rattle sound when I start to move...I turn the car off them back on and the engine is idling fine, I press the gas and it revs fine but when I put in in gear to move, the car shuts off so I towed it home...before this happened the past few months I've noticed that when the clutch is not pressed (in neutral) I hear a low humming sound as if the throw out bearing isn't greased...it went away when I depressed the clutch ...think its the tranny? the gear shifter goes into each gear with no problem but when I put in in gear it dies...and the first time like I said when it began to move it rattled like hell and I felt something kicking around down there. guess I;m really out of commission till the spring now.

I'm guessing it's the trans. A 13B-RE at 16 psi and the n/a trans can't be the best of friends.

Sounds like the clutch exploded or something let loose in the tranny. I throwed an input shaft bearing once and tried to make it home. It wound up costing me a rear stationary bearing also. Just something to check when you pull the tranny. Keep your fingers crossed about what actually broke.

+1 on the NA tranny. I had one go with a similar sounding story to it - without all of the power that you have. You may still have 4th gear - altho that's not going to do much for you now.
