i really need a really precise diagram/explanation of how to take the a/c out and still leave in the powersteering..
ive searched the service manuals and everything but nothing tells me about the a/c!

 

First thing you need to do is get teh refridgerant removed from the system, either the legal way of getting it recovered by a ac shop, or the illegal and polluting way of just crackginteh system open, which if you do back away quickly as it escapes.

Now you can start removing the ac hardlines. Once all uncoupled you will most likely wish to pull yoru radiator off so you can get at the condenser unit, btw pulling said condensor will increase the airflow to your radiator and I recommend cleanign the front of the radiator once its out. The ac compressor will need to be pulled and when you do, you may need to unbolt the engine mounts and pull the motor up so you will be able to get to the lower bolts.
