I have an 89 auto vert with 88,*** with a rebuild at 80,000 says the previous owner. It happened once before back when and I didn’t really think anything of it until now.

I was driving home from the store in some heavy rain, so I wasn’t pushing it (but before the storm I was running a road flat out.) so the check engine light would occasionally come on just for a second and some times it wouldn’t cut off till I let of the gas. Some times going up a hill at a constant speed/RPM I could very slightly feel a change in pulling power (slow down/speed up) ever so slightly.

By the time I got home I hade the assumption maybe it is only at certain loads on the engine and hoping that it was something as simple as a sensor, but I’m no expert, slap me if I’m wrong.

But basically I haven’t really checked anything out yet due to its still pissing down rain. So if any one can give me a diagnostic off of what info I gave it would be just great. If any more info is needed to more specifically place the rhyme for reason I can try to provide.
