Help on my 90 vert fc

I just bought this fc yesturday. Im more of a nissan guy but i decided to go rotary. besides that fact, the rx7 i bought yesturday has a few problem that i would like to get fixed asap. I already read the faq's and they did help me with somethings but not quite all. here is a list of the problems i have..

-Driver window will not go down when the button is pushed but you can still hear the motor for the window working.
-The volume controls right by the side mirrors wont work, and also the side mirrors button wont go up.
-Also when i have the ac on and i have the car stopped it shuts off.
-and the car has alot of heat escaping it.

If any one can help please do. thank you.

The tracks to the window might be really dirty. Try to clean them out, and make sure the motor isn't just crying for help in there

I can't help you with the second one, heh

Make sure the BAC valve is hooked up right? That's the piece, I believe, that gives the car more rpms when it's under an electrical stress.

I'm not sure, but what heat prevention items are in an n/a?

Also check the wire that raises and lowers the window, my 90 fc vert had a badly strip one and it wouldn't go down and you could hear it like you say. Depending from where you feel the heat coming from, I've had heat escaping into my previous car thru the shifter and behind below the dash, I was missing some insulation on the shifter and had some rubber pieces missing on the firewall.

I'm pretty sure you have some exhaust leaks. Check your exhaust for holes and check your flange gaskets all along the the pipes, you have one in every division, check where the manifold meets the pipe. These leaks make a lot of heat and you feel it standing next to the car or sitting in it with the door open. I hope this helps.
