Help - Motor Rebuild? (kinda long)

My beloved rex sat for three days and didn't want to start. Acted like a lack of compression and my relatively new plugs showed a little carbon coating. To get it running I had to resort to the ATF trick for the second time in three or four months. I go out of town often on the weekends and don't take the RX. This means that the car sits for two or three days at a time every couple of weeks.

Does this sound like I need to rebuild this engine soon, or is there some other simple problem that I don't know about. My mods and removals are in my sig. Please give me some input on this issue. If I need to rebuild this engine, then I need to step up efforts on my Supra project and make room for the rex. I'd just like as much warning as possible. Thanks.

get a compression test, do a tune up, check for leaks vaccum hoses, unflooded it....do some tests.....

dont think your engine can get screwed just by sitting for 2-3 days....

I don't think it got screwed in 2-3 days, I think it may be too worn and/or too coated in carbon to continue running trouble free for long. As for the tune up, it was done about 1500 miles ago... and no, I didn't use that set of plugs with the ATF. I keep an old set just in case. I'm also running Accell 8.8 wires and 93 or 94 octane gas. Unless both times were caused by sub-par gasoline not burning clean, I'm trying to figure if I need to work a rebuild into my budget.

Really you need to just check you compression. If you have done it, post it here so we can see it.
