help me understand

Hey guys, I've had a couple of second gens before...i had a '88 gxl and then after that I had a '88 T2...this may seem a dumb question to u guys, but when you guys say S4 or S5, what are you guys talking about? Reason why Im asking is because I'm interested in buying another T2 next month and Ive heard ppl on this board say that the S5 is better or that the S4 is better and Im not understanding what the differnce is. I have never heard anyone say S4 or S5 before till I came accross this forum. Is it maybe the year? Please help me understand. Thanks!

116 posts and youve never read the FAQ at the top of the page?

S4 (series 4) is 86-88
S5 (series 5) is 89-91.

Which one is better is subjective, they each have their strong points.
