Help me pick a new turbo

OK so its time to upgrade the ol turbo. I know that I am going to get a BNR rebuild, but i'm not 100% sure on wich one I should get.

My car
87 Turbo II

Rtek 2.0
4 X 720 injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Racing beat turbo back exhaust
Dumbass cone filter

Pretty much everything else is stock

At the moment I am boosting to about 12 psi with the boost creep from my tiny stock turbo port (11mm i think). I know (strongly suspect) that with the upgrade that will drop down to about 10 psi, which I am fine running for now. That is what the RB set up is supposed to run and I'm hoping thats what i will end up with.

Anyway....
the only upgrades i'm really looking at in the near future is to fab up a box for my cone filter that uses the stock, over the radiator intake "hose". and then maybe a solid TID, I want the one that banzai made but i have to search for one. That should put me back to about 12 psi.

I don't have much interest in an upgraded intercooler. I know that it makes a big difference but that is a ways down the road yet. For now I am just looking to run 10-12 psi with the stock cooler.

So should I go for the 1,2,3 or 4th stage? Im not really thinking much about the 4 but it is an option. 2 and 3 are strong on my list.

Fire away with your oppinions!!!!

Ok so the stage one will fit under my stock "turbo insulators" but how bout a stage 2? would i need to run a turbo blanket, or can i run without them?

All 4 stages uses the stock hotside, thats why it bolts right up to your stock manifold. So the turbo insulator should fit just fine. I don't use a turbo blanket, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to use one.

Does the Rtek 2.0 mess with timing at all? If not then I would just stay with a stage 2 or 1.
