Help Me With My New Indiglo Guages

I have just recieved some guages from ebay, they are new & in working order.
BUT they did not come with any insturctions now I have them in but the guages are not working. & i have no idea how to:

A - calabrate the guages... the gas, oil pressure, & temp are all limp on the cluster.

B- get the indiglo to stay on without holding the on off switch it comes with!

Can you help me out!!!!!

I do not want to leave any negative feedback for not getting any instructions with this seemingly simple item.

just wire it to the switched connection from your radio. its not that hard. i believe the indeglo gauges fit inbetween the actual gauge face and the plate that goes over the gauges to hide the circuit board.

are you talking about the gauge cluster itself or just the indiglo part? If you are talking about the indiglo part them A has nothing to do with the indiglo it has to do with your gauge cluster. B most people splice into the switch on the cluster that you turn your lights on with normally that way when you turn your lights on it will automatically turn the indiglos on.

my needles have gone limp. and it came with a on off switch. do i need to turn that on every time i turn on my lights? also should i take out all the bulbs in the back of the cluster?

By the way my speedomotor, & RPM guage needles work fine... my small needles are limp.

Make sure you have the screws tight on the small gauges, so they are getting signals. Check the FSM for the wire colors. They're going to be different depending on model year.

Viagra.

By limp, do you mean they're not moving? Did you check the two round connectors on the gauge cluster to make sure that they're remaining seated? Try using some contact cleaner on the pins and connectors.

Carefull with the bumping. Icemark will come in and remove your posts.

there should be two wires... ground one wire to your steering colum and the other wire which is postive run it to your headlight switch (perferably to the stationary lights cause they stay one when the headlights wre on too...

let me guess.... you pulled the needles off to put the faces on?

unfortunately i can't be of help if you did, there is a socket behind each of the fue/oil/temp/boost/voltage/etc guages that once you pull the needle out the socket falls down and is a **** to get back into place let alone to line up.

best thing i can say is try to get the needles into the sockets and then sweep each down to the at rest position(down and facing left) and never pull them out again, you can calibrate them if they still need to by sweeping the needle left or right while it is in the socket. if you do not understand then i am afraid i cannot help you at this point because it is far too difficult to explain without actually showing you.

the only other alternative if this is the case is to find a nother used cluster and either try to slide the faces over the needles or to cut slits in them that do not affect their operation.

the way i installed mines w/o removing the needles was sliding the gauges half folded - not completely folded but jus enough to get them in. i alomst took the needles out but my dad said not to cuz of problems mentioned by karak. i know this doesnt help now but its for future reference for others.
