hmm, im surprised, ive been shying away from RB downpipe becuase i thought there was a fitment issue with the stock main cat, but if it bolts up fine, then i would rather to that direction.

There is. If you just get the downpipe, it will not bolt up to the main cat. Thats the thing, the dp is not the same length as stock precats that connect to the main cat. For it to fit you need to get the cat replacement pipe and presilencer.
