You have a 89T2 just so everybody else knows.

When you say it doesn't "turn on" anymore, do you mean the whole elctrical system is dead? We are going to need more info from you to determine your condition; so spit out everything in detail about your situation.

Sounds like the fuel pump or fuel filter. Check the fuel pump fuse and relay, or listen for its hum. Have someone cycle the key on and off (not cranking it over) while you listen for it. You can hear it from the hatch area, just pop it open and listen.

And if the fuel filter hasnt been changed in the last 10 to 15,000 miles, it probably needs it.

Note: When you turn the key to the position where the dash lights come on, the car is "on"

When you turn farther, the starter motor is engaged and the engine is "cranking". When it starts up, then the car is running, not "on".

Sorry Im picky about terminology.
