Help! I don't think my engine is burning oil
I bought my 87 N/A about a month ago and it doesn't seem to be burning very much oil. I really don't want to rebuild a engine anytime soon so how can I check to see if it is getting oil properly?

How much is it burning?
Mine only burns maybe a half quart to every 3k miles. I don't have to add any ever. Don't think I am babying the car either, I hit 7600 and yesterday 7800 rpm in it.

I thought these cars are supposed to go through about a quart every 1k miles?!?! I have gone through maybe 1/4 a quart(maybe even less) in about 1k miles.

how would you know if it is not injecting oil into the rotors. won't the engine bloe if it is not getting oil. another thing i noticed is my oil pressure. Normal driving it is about 60.. but when i drive hard it climbs almost to the top.. 110 i think it is. is this normal?? is there some bypass valve that could be clogged?
